About the Instructor
I am a Biomedical Engineer with my Master of Science from Texas A&M University (Obligatory “GIG EM”). I currently work as a project engineer in Abbott Neuromodulation supporting spinal cord and deep brain stimulation products. I grew up in the Ozark mountains of Branson Missouri and I love fly fishing whenever I can. I have a dachshund- corgi mix who rescued me two years ago that I love to go hiking with. I’ve taught college students and kindergartners, and I like to think that I could teach you too. Believe it or not, I miss mathematics and science topics in an academic setting and I hope I can show you my enthusiasm for learning these topics. I also love to read and write in my spare time and I can be helpful with these topics as well (I won the spelling bee like three times growing up).

Everybody laughed at Louis Armstrong when he said he was going to the moon someday. Now he’s up there, laughing at us.
